A message to campers, guardians, volunteers, donors and the wider Outlook community:
We are updating this message with the good news that Camp Outlook is cautiously starting its fall programming! After our summer-long hiatus, we have missed our community greatly. In accordance with the standards of KFL&A Public Health, the Ontario Camps Association, and the Ontario Ministry of Health, we have developed strict protocols in order to keep all participants and volunteers safe. Such measures include but are not limited to: no overnight programming, no group transportation, and pre-activity health screening for all volunteers and participants. A list of our COVID-19 procedures can be found here.
As the pandemic continues to evolve, all of our protocols and programming are subject to change, to ensure that we are always in compliance with the latest health and safety recommendations. We will ensure that any updates are sent to participants as they are approved. If you are considering going on a trip, please be sure that you are able to follow our guidelines. Our ability to run our programming depends on the full cooperation of all participants and volunteers. The health and safety of our youth and volunteers remains our highest priority, and we will only operate while it is safe to do so.
While we were not able to run our regular programming this summer, we are looking forward to what is possible this fall! Please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and/or email@example.com if you have any questions about our response to COVID-19, or our programming. We hope that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy, and hope that we can see you for Camp Outlook Winter 2020/2021.
All the best,
Ben, Greg, Jesse, Laura, Laura, Marc, Mariana, Joanna, and Cole
