Camp Outlook's 50th Reunion

To the Outlook community,

We’re reaching out to provide an update regarding our 50th Anniversary Reunion, originally scheduled for the summer of 2020 but postponed twice by Covid.

We had hoped to hold an in-person reunion this year in Kingston and had tentatively pencilled in the last weekend of summer, Aug 27-28, for the event. But the Omicron wave and the uncertainty it’s creating are making it difficult to know whether we’ll be able to carry through with our plans.

For now, we’re adopting a wait-and-see attitude. Once the wave is past and things are back to more or less normal, we’ll make a decision about whether to go ahead with the event or postpone another year.

While we’ve been waiting for the pandemic to end, we’ve been organizing a series of Zoom reunions to give past Outlookers a way to get together and reconnect with old friends and colleagues in a safe and informal setting.

Last year we held Zoom reunions for 1970s, 1980s and 1990s Outlookers, and this year we’re planning on organizing similar events for the 2000s and 2010s. If you’d like to take part in the Outlook Zoom reunions, or want to get on the mailing list for reunion news and updates, drop us a line at reunion@campoutlook.ca

In friendship,

The 50th Anniversary Planning Committee & Outlook Board of Directors
