Camp Outlook's 50th Reunion
It’s happening! Camp Outlook’s 50th Reunion is taking place in Kingston during the last weekend of summer, Aug 25 to 27.
Fifty years is a big deal for an organization like Outlook. We hope you’ll come celebrate that and catch up with friends from long ago, and not so long ago.
We’ve rented a beach house on Lake Ontario that will be the Outlook House for the weekend, and most of the events will be taking place there.
There’s options for accommodation, including a place where you can pitch a tent.
We’re working on a schedule for the weekend, but this is what it looks like for now:
Friday evening: Drinks and tapas at the house
Saturday afternoon: Family friendly picnic in Victoria Park
Saturday evening: Buffet dinner at the house
Sunday morning: Paddle and picnic on Devil’s Lake north of Kingston
At some point we’ll have a slide show, a chat with the current summer directors and staff, a silent auction fundraiser, a talk from someone in the Kingston community who’s worked with Outlook for decades and other cool stuff.
If you’re thinking about attending – and we hope you are! – it would be great if you could fill out our sign-up form.
Also, please help us spread the word! We’ve lost touch with many Outlookers over the decades, and even if you can reach out to one person who’s not aware of the reunion, it would be a huge help.
In the coming months we’ll be sending out email reminders and posting on social media. But if you have any questions, or you’d like to send us photos or video to put in the slide show, drop us a line at reunion@campoutlook.ca
Regards,
The Reunion Committee
